| The following example shows how to
do raised lettering. |
| Step 1: Draw letters in CorelDraw or any other drawing or CAD program that will export dxf files. Use the font of your choice, and turn fill off, so the lettering will be an outline. |

| Step 2: Open the dxf file containing the lettering in the BobCAD 3D software program included with automated Z axis. Perform pocketing operation, which creates a tool path as shown at right. You have full control over bit diameter, tool offset, depth, overlap, etc. BobCAD now creates the G-code file for the raised lettering. |

| Step 3: The Torchmate driver software now loads the G-code file, and cuts the lettering. The whole operation takes perhaps fifteen minutes, most of which is the cutting process. |
