Bridge side boards, such as the one shown
above, typically sell for over $200 a pair in teak, and as much as $500 a pair with the
relieved lettering painted in gold and a coat of polyurithane. Materials are about
$30. These are generally fastened to both side panels of a boat's bridge.
Set up your apartment-sized CNC router in a booth at boat shows, and fill orders while
your customers see the rest of the show. Set up a web site, and sell them on the
Internet. The possibilities are limitless. This is but one example of the
hundreds of categories of products that can be produced with a router mounted on a 3-D
Torchmate shape cutting machine. |
